Langley’s gin eyes up Asia expansion

Gin producer Langley’s England is making its debut in the Asian market after signing a five-year distribution deal with Milestone Beverages.

Langley’s No. 8 and Langley’s Old Tom gins are now available in Hong Kong and the Philippines

First launched in 2013, Langley’s England’s portfolio includes Langley’s No. 8 and Langley’s Old Tom, both of which will be available in Asia from this month (April).

Through its partnership with Milestone Beverages, the brand has already secured distribution in Hong Kong and the Philippines.

Langley’s, which is owned by Charter Brands, is also available across Europe and the US.

Joe Milner, Milestone Beverages’ managing director, said: “We have agreed a clear strategy which is extensively focusing on distribution and education as a way to increase consumer awareness and appreciation of the brand.

“APAC is a region in constant evolution with a growing cocktail culture and high demand for quality, premium spirits and these are ideal conditions for the gins to grow.”
