Lakes Distillery gains Tesco listing for gin
Cumbria’s The Lakes Distillery has secured a listing for its Lakes Gin in Tesco stores across the north west of England.
The Lakes Gin is made with 10 botanicals including Cumbrian juniper
As part of the partnership, The Lakes Distillery will work closely with the UK supermarket chain on featured tastings, distillery experiences and campaigns throughout the year.
The Lakes Gin is made with 10 botanicals including Cumbrian juniper – one of the county’s oldest plant species – and four others native to the Lake District National Park.
“We’re delighted to work with Lakes Distillery to offer their award winning Lakes Gin in our stores across the region,” said Steve Brooks, local buyer at Tesco.
“We’re always on the lookout for the very best local products to share with our customers these make an excellent treat for any occasion.”
Nigel Mills, CEO of The Lakes Distillery, said: “We are thrilled that The Lakes Gin is being listed by Tesco, and are sure that it will prove popular with customers regionally and nationally.

Earlier this month, The Lakes Distillery expanded its product availability in travel retail after signing a deal with World Duty Free.
