Yum! Brands chief transformation and people officer Tracy Skeans has joined the Brown-Forman board of directors.

The Jack Daniel’s owner named Skeans as the 14th member of its board of directors, and brings experience working with some of the world’s largest restaurant chains.
Her role with Yum! Bands has seen Skeans work with the teams behind more than 45,000 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in more than 135 countries and territories.
Brown-Forman board chairman, Geo. Garvin Brown IV, said: “Tracy brings a wealth of multi-functional global business experience to the Brown-Forman board.
“We’re delighted to welcome her to the board and believe she will provide significant contributions as we continue to grow around the world.”
Prior to assuming her current position, Skeans was president of Pizza Hut International, which at the time, was a business with more than 5,900 restaurants across more than 85 countries. Before that, Skeans served as chief people officer of Pizza Hut Global.
Earlier this year, Brown-Forman reported a “strong” third quarter, with net sales up by 9% to US$878 million, led by its Jack Daniel’s family of brands.
