Rebel Yell unveils 2018 single barrel Bourbon
Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon has launched the 2018 iteration of its single barrel expression.
Rebel Yell has launched its 2018 single barrel BourbonBottled at 50% abv, Rebel Yell Single Barrel 2018 has been matured for 10 years in charred oak barrels.
Each barrel is transferred to bottle by hand, with each bottle detailing the barrel number and the date it was filled into casks.
The 2018 release is available in most US states for an RRP of US$59.99 per 750ml bottle. A total of 2,000 nine-litre cases have been released.
“Ageing the Bourbon for 10 years really brings out the sweetness, oakiness, and caramel and vanilla notes,” said John Rempe, head distiller at parent company Lux Row Distillers.
“Every barrel is different and has its own unique flavour profile, creating a new experience for consumers with every bottle.”
