Broken Shed Distilleries hires new CMO
By Melita KielyNew Zealand-based Broken Shed Distilleries has appointed Jean-Marie Heins as its chief marketing officer (CMO), as the group strives to increase its distribution footprint.
The Broken Shed Vodka maker has welcomed a new CMOHeins will be tasked with looking after the company’s overall marketing strategy and implementation for Broken Shed Vodka.
She will report to Samuel A Brown, executive chairman, and Jonathan Bailey, chief executive officer and president.
“Jean-Marie will play a pivotal role in growing Broken Shed Vodka distribution and optimising our marketing efforts,” said Brown. “Her extensive experience in the distilled spirits industry will make an immediate impact on our company and we are very happy to welcome her to the Broken Shed family.”
Before joining Broken Shed Distilleries, Heins worked for more than three decades at Sidney Frank Importing Company in numerous marketing roles – most recently holding the position of executive vice president of marketing and sales operations, working across brands including Casamigos Tequila, Grey Goose Vodka and Jägermeister.
Heins holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and fine art from the Collect of Mt. St Vincent.
