Tales of the Cocktail on Tour has revealed the programme of seminars and talks for its April event in Edinburgh.
Tales of the Cocktail on Tour in Edinburgh takes place from 7-10 April
Seminars at the four-day gathering in the Scottish capital have been designed to “educate, illuminate and entertain” bartenders and cocktail enthusiasts across the city.
Philip Duff, director of education at Tales of the Cocktail, said: “I’m excited to announce this selection of seminars from some of the most influential figures in the drinks industry.”
Talks will cover a range of issues, including techniques, history and the business of making drinks.
The Against The Grain sminar, which will be hosted by Davin de Kergommeaux and Kevin Vollebregt, will look at the importance of grain choice in spirit production.
Meanwhile, Elayne Duff, Monica Berg, Hannah Lanfear and Sullivan Doh will discuss diversity in the industry at their Dollars Of Diversity talk.
The Sound Advice talk, hosted by Jacob Briars, Sly Augustin and Metinee Kongsrivali, will discuss the importance of music selection in bars, while Ballin’ on a Budget hopes to help bars with a reduced marketing budget to raise their profile.
The Edinburgh event will also host a programme of Meet the Distiller talks, which will pay homage to the people and spirits bringing intrigue to the drinks industry.
Events and seminars at Tales of the Cocktail on Tour will be located around The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Tales of the Cocktail founders Ann and Paul Tuennerman had entered into an agreement with two local entrepreneurs to sell the annual drinks festival.
