New Bimber Distillery spirits launch in UK on-trade
London-based spirits producer Bimber Distillery has expanded its portfolio with a new range of products targeted at the on-trade.
The new vodka and gin expressions from Bimber Distillery target the UK on-trade
The new London Classics range from the Bimber Distillery includes a vodka and a gin, which are both aimed at the UK pub, bar and restaurant industry.
Designed to fit into a speed rail, the new expressions feature a slightly different recipe to the distillery’s original vodka and gin, and also boast a new bottle design.
The distillery hopes the new range will help it enter the house-pour spirits market with its new “easier to pour” bottle.
Distilled in small batches in copper pot stills, the new London Dry Gin is described as “perfectly balanced with a characteristic flavour of juniper berries, a touch of citrus and an earthy finish”, while London Vodka has a “very smooth and pure taste with undertones of fresh citrus”.
With both expressions bottled at 40% abv, the small batch distillery’s London Vodka costs £19.95 (US$28) in retail per 700ml, and £15.49 (US$21) to the trade, while the new London Dry Gin retails for £20.45 (US$29), with a trade price of £15.89 (US$22).
The new bottlings join the Bimber Distillery’s current portfolio, which includes Cherry Vodka and English Barley Vodka, as well as a Sherry cask-aged whisky due for release in 2019.
The distillery launched in 2015 and last year launched its English Barley vodka in UK department store Fortnum & Mason.
