Edinburgh Gin launches Pomegranate & Rose gin liqueur

Ian Macleod Distillers-owned Edinburgh Gin has expanded its liqueur range with the launch of a Pomegranate and Rose bottling.

Edinburgh Gin’s latest expression is flavoured with pomegranate seeds with rose petals

Following an exclusive launch in John Lewis over autumn and winter last year, the expression will now be rolled out to specialist retailers across the UK.

Bottled at 20% abv, the Scottish distillery’s latest expression is inspired by the orient, infusing its gin with pomegranate seeds and damask rose petals.

Neil Boyd, UK managing director of Ian Macleod Distillers, said: “Pomegranate is associated with decadence, while the addition of rose evokes tastes and aromas of Turkish delight.

“A lavish and sumptuous fruit gin liqueur, Pomegranate and Rose works perfectly in a Gin Fizz or as a modern twist on a classic Martini.”

The new expression joins the brand’s range of gin liqueurs, which includes Raspberry, Elderflower, Plum & Vanilla, and Rhubarb & Ginger expressions.

Boyd said: “Using our classic London Dry Gin as a base, we like to explore and experiment with flavour to create a range that is unique, varied and enriches the gin drinking experience.

Edinburgh Gin’s Pomegranate and Rose Liqueur is available in 500ml bottles from John Lewis and specialist retailers carrying an RRP of £18.49.

Ian Macleod Distillers recently revamped its Edinburgh Gin fruit liqueurs range, bringing the design in-line with the brand’s core portfolio.
