Artesian to create menu of ‘personalised experiences’
Internationally renowned London bar Artesian is seeking input from members of the public to develop a new drinks menu inspired by metaphysics and statistics.
Artesian is a leading name in the bar world
For the new menu, called Artesian Moments, head bartender Remy Savage and bar manager Anna Sebastian are seeking to understand the “pinnacle moments throughout a person’s life”.
Stemming from Savage’s interest in philosophy, the team will identify events that contribute to personal identity by gathering information from consumers.
They will collect data from a questionnaire, which asks respondents 17 questions relating to key events in their lives, and the feelings and flavours associated with them.
The resulting drinks menu will aim to evoke memories and experiences synonymous with different life stages.
“We have a vision to create a menu of personalised experiences for each of our guests that engages them in a completely new way,” said Savage.
“It’s important for us to have a diverse cross-section of the public coupled with robust results to shape and define our menu of moments.”
Artesian appointed Savage, who previously worked at Little Red Door in Paris, and Sebastian, from The Savoy in London, to its team in October last year.
The bar unveiled its first new menu under the direction of Savage and Sebastian in December – an “interpretation of some of the world’s most iconic drinks”, called Cause, Effect & Classic Cocktails.
