Tito’s creates vodka-infused chocolates

Texas-based Tito’s Handmade Vodka has teamed up with luxury candy maker Sugarfina to create a range of vodka-infused sweets.

The chocolate collection from Sugarfina and Tito’s features two new candies, each inspired by classic vodka cocktails.

The Tito’s American Mule Bears are gummy bears infused with Tito’s vodka and ginger beer, while the Tito’s Vodka Cordial’s are a sweet dark chocolate cordial filled with a sip of the vodka.

Nicole Portwood, VP of brand marketing at Tito’s Handmade Vodka, said: “We were so excited when Sugarfina reached out with the idea for vodka-infused candies.

“We’ve been experimenting with infusions for the last 20 years and this takes it to the next level.”

The two flavours are available separately in Sugarfina’s Candy Cubes for US$8.50 or as part of the ‘Vodka is Always a Good Idea’ gift box, which holds both candies and a mini hand-crafted copper mule mug.

Sugarfina co-founders, Rosie O’Neill and Josh Resnick, said: “As craft vodka lovers, we’re excited to partner with our all-time favourite vodka brand on this grown-up candy collection.

“We’re best known for our artisan cocktail candies and these new vodka-infused treats perfectly round out our top shelf collection.”

Last year, the Texas-based vodka brand announced that it was now available on all six continents, after securing a distribution deal in Africa.
