SB to host new Spirited event in March

The Spirits Business has launched an unmissable new London-based trade fair that will bring together some of the most exciting movers and shakers in the spirits and cocktail world, called Spirited.

Spirited will take place on 15 March in London

The inaugural show will be held at Nine Adam Street in London on Thursday 15 March 2018.

A free-to-attend dedicated trade session will take place from 12pm-4pm, giving drinks industry professionals the opportunity to take part in educational masterclasses and learn about cutting-edge products.

The show will then open to consumers from 5pm-10pm, where spirits and cocktail lovers can immerse themselves in the latest bar trends.

Spread across a number of rooms, Spirited will offer an assortment of engaging features.

For the trade, there will be a series of educational masterclasses – including one dedicated to ‘Boundary-Breaking Whiskies’, where attendees will have the opportunity to taste and learn about pioneering products in the whisky world. Details of further masterclasses will be announced in due course.

Open to all, a World Bar will offer a selection of classic cocktails inspired by different countries and cultures across the globe, while a Craft Spirits Zone will showcase some of the best products from smaller producers.

A New Products Zone will highlight the new brands and expressions making waves in the industry, and a dedicated Ultra-Premium Zone will give guests the opportunity to sample higher-end offerings.

Spirited will also celebrate some of the top scorers in The Global Spirits Masters, a blind-tasting competition held by The Spirits Business, with its Taste Masters Zone.

Amy Hopkins, editor of The Spirits Business, said: “Spirited offers a unique opportunity for bartenders, brand managers, distributors, buyers, PR professionals and journalists to really immerse themselves in new trends and products steering their industry.

“Unlike most other trade fairs, there will be a key focus on smaller, ‘craft’ producers, offering an intimate setting to get to know the industry’s pioneering trend-setters.”
