Pinkster gin unveils limited-edition Valentine’s Day design

Pinkster hopes to help gin lovers “keep things fruity” this Valentine’s Day with a limited-edition bottle design.

Only 5,000 bottles of the 2018 Pinkster gin Valentine’s Day bottle are available

The Pinkster gin bottle features an arrow-pierced heart with the strapline ‘Let the love be gin’, and follows last year’s limited-edition Valentine’s bottle, which boosted sales over the romantic holiday by 335%.

Only 5,000 bottles will be made available, supported by marketing activities including Valentine’s-themed cocktail recipes and a 30-second ‘raspberry romance’ stop-motion animated video.

Will Holt, marketing director at Pinkster, said: “Following the success of last year’s special edition, contributing to a 335% sales uplift on the previous year, we needed no convincing to wear our heart on our sleeves once again.

“It’s a perfect storm of Valentine’s huge gifting potential, the nation’s thirst for gin showing no sign of slowing, and millennial pink seemingly all the rage. We like to think we’re doing our bit to help romantic shoppers keep things fruity.

“On the basis the world’s largest spirits company launched a pink gin last year, we reckon it’s fair to say that there’s real momentum in this burgeoning sub-category.

“Pinkster offers a premium drinking experience, with a quirky flavour profile, all packaged up with eye-catching design. And what better time to drink pink than Valentine’s?”

The limited-edition Valentine’s Day bottle has an RRP of £35 (US$47) per 700ml.
