Hip hop star A$AP Ferg teams up with Hennessy
New York rapper A$AP Ferg has collaborated with Hennessy on a new creative campaign and cocktail, which is exclusively available through home delivery service Cocktail Courier.
The collaboration has seen the A$AP Ferg produce a new creative campaign video, release an exclusive track called ‘Family’, and create a new cocktail called The Uptown.
Exclusively available through home delivery service Cocktail Courier, the new signature serve combines Hennessy VSOP Privilège with cassis, hibiscus, cinnamon, chipotle and a dash of lemon juice.
Cocktail Courier, which launched in America in 2015, will deliver complete cocktail kits, including all the ingredients required to make The Uptown, to consumers’ homes.
The cocktail kits were made available to order in the US this week through Cocktail Courier for US$78.
The first 100 people to order one of the cocktail kits will receive a limited-edition vinyl pressing of A$AP Ferg’s new track, which is available to stream on SoundCloud and has been released in collaboration with Hennessy. The exclusive pressing includes artwork created by Ferg himself.
As well as creating an exclusive cocktail and releasing a single, A$AP Ferg has worked with the Cognac maker to produce a new creative campaign video, available to watch below.
The video tracks the star’s progress from his beginnings in Harlem to his rise to fame as part of hip hop collective, A$AP Mob.
In the video, Ferg shares his creative process as well as his love of other pursuits, such as painting.
Last year, the Cognac house teamed up with the Abbey Road recording studio for a campaign aiming to “blend artists and genres together”, called Masters of Potential.
