Drizly fills senior leadership roles

Fast-growing alcohol e-commerce platform Drizly has expanded its leadership team with a new CMO, CFO and head of HR.

Drizly has filled three senior leadership roles

The US-based on-demand alcohol delivery service has named Scott Braun, the former CMO at Auto Europe Group, as its chief marketing officer. Braun also previously served as global marketing director for Gillette at Proctor & Gamble and vice president, marketing at Vistaprint.

Joe Grabmeier – who has held senior finance and operations roles with digital marketing platform Adelphic, Apple, and mobile advertising platform Quattro Wireless – has joined Drizly as its chief financial officer.

The company has also hired Gabriela McManus, former executive director at Boston-based Intelligent.ly, as its first head of people operations.

Nick Rellas, CEO and co-founder of Drizly, said: “Scott, Joe and Gabriela bring precisely the experience and discipline that will set the stage for sustained growth and operational excellence at Drizly.

“At the same time, they bring a big, healthy dose of energy and fresh perspective that help fast-moving technology companies like Drizly thrive.”

Drizly has experienced rapid growth since it was founded in 2012. The company surpassed one million orders by the middle of last year, and expanded to more than 70 cities across the US and Canada in 2017.

Also last year, the firm created an online hub to provide “unprecedented intelligence” on emerging trends, pricing and product movement for suppliers and retailers.
