Catoctin Creek to expand US distribution

The Catoctin Creek Distilling Company is set to broaden its availability in the US by launching in 11 new markets next month.

Catoctin Creek’s spirits portfolio will be available in 25 US states

Independent retailer Total Wine will stock the Virginia-based firm’s entire spirits portfolio, which includes brands such as Roundstone Rye, Braddock Oak Rye and Watershed Gin.

The new markets will include Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, South Carolina and Texas, bringing the company’s US presence up to 25 states.

This is the latest expansion for the Catoctin Creek Distilling Company after Constellation Brands acquired a minority stake in the spirits producer in January 2017 for an undisclosed amount.

Becky Harris, founder and chief distiller, said: “Over the past few years, we’ve significantly grown our barrel inventory.

“Along with the acquisition of the new warehouse space in 2017, we have been planning this expansion for quite some time now.

“Our improvements in production are now fully online, so we’re absolutely ready for this move into new states.”
