Ole Smoky Distillery part of new entertainment project

Moonshine producer Ole Smoky Distillery has teamed up with Tennessee brewing company Yee-Haw, and Music City Roots to open an entertainment venue in Nashville.

Ole Smoky Distillery is part of an entertainment venue project planned for 2018

The venue, currently called 6th & Peabody, will include a distillery, brewery, live music, bars, tasting rooms, beer and bottle shops, and merchandise.

Set to open in the second half of 2018, guests will be able to indulge in cocktails by the glass, and purchase jars of moonshine and bottled beer to take home.

Robert Hall, CEO of Ole Smoky, commented: “It makes sense for Ole Smoky and Yee-Haw to team up and create a space where all of our fans can enjoy themselves outside of our East Tennessee home base.

“Both brands have a strong presence in the state and by joining forces we can offer great entertainment and a wide variety of beverages to fit every taste.”

The venue will be located within a renovated 12,000sqft warehouse in SoBro, also known as the South Six District.

Executive producer John Walker said: “The heart of this partnership is our shared goal to curate a world-class listening environment, and present the music with the utmost respect for the artists that create it.

“In addition to being a live venue, it will be fully equipped for HD video broadcast, state-of-the-art live audio recording and radio broadcast.”
