Lost Distillery Co launches miniature range
By Amy HopkinsThe Lost Distillery Company is offering consumers a taste of Scotch whisky’s ‘lost’ flavours with the launch of a six-strong miniature range.
The Discovery Selection is priced £34.99The blended malt range, called Discovery Selection, also reflects taste profiles from the six Scotch whisky-producing regions.
Whiskies in the range include: Auchnagie, Stratheden, Towiemore, Jericho, Gerston, Dalaruan and Lossit.
The Lost Distillery Company creates blended Scotch whisky inspired by the flavour profiles of closed distilleries, and last year moved its business to the 2000-acre Dumfries House estate.
“We’ve spent the last four years developing and refining our diverse whisky portfolio to bring the stories of some of Scotland’s lost distilleries back to life,” said Scott Watson, co-founder of The Lost Distillery Company.
“Our new Discovery Selection boxes allow consumers to get a taste of whiskies from across the range and what these forgotten malts might be like if they were still in production today.
“The Classic selection offers accessible whiskies with a huge variety of flavour profiles, providing a gift of exploration for whisky lovers old and new.”
The Lost Distillery Company’s Discovery Selection is available globally at an RRP of £34.99 (US$46.87). Its full range is divided into three sections: Classic, Archivist and Vintage.
