Copper Dog launches bottle-personalisation service with Selfridges

Blended Scotch whisky Copper Dog has launched a bottle-personalisation service at luxury department store Selfridges.

Until 24 December, shoppers will be able to customise the label of their Copper Dog whisky at the department store’s Oxford Street store in London.

The blended Scotch whisky brand is customising labels of its whisky with in-store calligraphers, who can produce bespoke labels while customers wait at the store.

Copper Dog is a blended Scotch, produced with eight Speyside single malt whiskies.

The whisky brand is named in honour of small pieces of tubing with a penny soldered on one end and a cork in the other, which distillery workers once used to smuggle whisky out of casks.

The whisky has been crafted by Copper Dog master blender Stuart Morrison and leads with “fruity flavours that move through fresh, orchard, dried and citrus,” with”hints of vanilla and aromatic spices” on the finish.

Copper Dog whisky has been on sale in the UK for just under a year. Since its launch, the blended Scotch whisky brand has gone on sale in global travel retail, as well as gaining publicity while sponsoring the GQ Solo Artist of the Year award, which went to grime star Stormzy.
