Altia appoints new board member

Nordic drinks group Altia has added a new member to its board of directors: Torsten Steenholt.

Steenholt joins existing board members including chairman Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae, vice chairman Annikka Hurme, Kim Henriksson, Kai Telanne and Tiina Lencioni.

The newest member currently works at bioscience company Chr. Hansen as EVP, global operations.

Steenholt brings experience from leading global operations, production and managing supply chains at senior levels. He has 15 years’ experience in the drinks industry having previously worked at Carlsberg.

He also holds numerous degrees, including master brewer, an MSc in pharmacy, and an MSc in chemical research.
