BNIA appoints Olivier Goujon as director
By Annie HayesOlivier Goujon has succeeded Sébastien Lacroix as director of the Bureau National Interprofessionnel de l’Armagnac (BNIA).
Goujon will oversee and manage the BNIA
Goujon, from Bergerac, will oversee and manage the BNIA whilst at the same time developing communication activities in France and abroad.
He has ten years’ experience working in communication for the Union des Oenologues de France in Paris; more recently at the Syndicat Général des Vignerons de la Champagne in Epernay.
A graduate of the Lycée Viticole de Montagne in Saint-Emilion, Goujon has also worked for press and public relations agencies in Paris.
Marc Darroze, president of the BNIA, said he is “delighted” with the appointment. “We deliberately wanted someone with a project leader and communicator profile,” he said.
“The BNIA must – as part of its strategic plan – more than ever be a melting pot of ideas in order to boost the promotion and values of AOC Armagnac; working alongside the whole BNIA team to set up production and quality projects to develop technical expertise.”
