World of Zing revamps bottled cocktail range
By Annie HayesBottled cocktail producer World of Zing has relaunched its Spirit of Zing range with updated recipes, fresh packaging and a new brand identity.
World of Zing has relaunched its bottled cocktail range
First launched in 2014, the five-strong range comprises a Blackberry & Tamarind Spiced Rum Spritz, Bordeaux Aged Negroni, Steel Aged Manhattan, Persian Lime & Nori Margarita, and Bitter Orange, Strawberry & Ginger Spritz.
The small-batch selection is produced in the company’s ‘cocktail development centre’ in south London, and will be available through speciality distributor Cotswold Fayre.
World of Zing founder Pritesh Mody, said: “With premium spirit and cocktail sales seeing a sharp and consistent rise in on-trade sales in recent years, the Spirit of Zing range closes the loop in off-trade drinking trends by offering hand-crafted bartender quality cocktails for the home drinker.
“Indeed, the range takes popular classics such as the Negroni and Margarita to the next flavour level by adopting the kind of unique production process and innovative ingredients only seen at the UK’s leading bars. The striking new branding and design completes the experience by capturing the excitement of the product and providing some serious on-shelf and bar impact.”
The new branding was created with leading design agency Springetts, and is based on the theme of ‘flavour beyond ordinary’ – helping consumers to “turn the ordinary into something extraordinary using simple ingredients and techniques”.
The packaging also features ingredient-specific colours and marks the brand’s beginnings through its ‘Born in London, 2014’ tagline.
Last year World of Zing’s on-trade programme delivered more than 100,000 serves, amounting to more than £1 million in revenue for clients.
