Smithworks Vodka expands US footprint

Pernod Ricard-owned Smithworks Vodka has entered five new markets in the US: Iowa, Michigan, Louisiana, Ohio and Nebraska.

Smithworks Vodka is now available in 12 US states

The vodka was launched in Iowa and Michigan in June, Louisiana in July, and Ohio and Nebraska in August, meaning Smithworks is now available in 12 US states.

First launched in 2016, triple-distilled Smithworks Vodka is made from Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma corn, and water from Lake Fort Smith in Arkansas.

Country musician Blake Shelton was involved in the development of Smithworks and still supports the brand today.

Tory Gorczyca, brand director at Smithworks, said: “As a brand that was born out of hard work, dedication and values of the Heartland, it’s incredible to look back and see where Smithworks started and how much the brand has grown since day one.

“Watching Smithworks more than double its market availability within the last year has been exciting and with Blake Shelton playing an integral role in the brand’s growth, we are looking forward to seeing what growth looks like for the American-made vodka over the next year.”

Smithworks Vodka has an RRP of US$19.99 per 750ml, and is also available in 50ml, 1L and 1.75L formats.
