Film director Matthew Vaughn selected The GlenDronach distillery for this particular collaboration to commemorate the birth year of Kingsman agent Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin.

Created by The GlenDronach whisky maker Rachel Barrie, the 25-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky has been matured exclusively in Sherry casks to give notes of black grapes, ripe Victoria plums and a warm finish.

Bottled at 48.2% abv, the whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added caramel colouring. It has an RRP of £550 and will be available from whisky retailers from September, including The Whisky Exchange, Berry Bros. & Rudd, The Whisky Shop, Gordon & MacPhail, Royal Mile Whiskies, The Grapevine and Master of Malt.

Barrie said: “It took over a quarter of a century for The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition to come of age, matured in Sherry casks from birth.

“As we say at the distillery: ‘cask is king,’ and this is evident in the taste experience of The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1991 Vintage, which is richly Sherried, elegant and full-bodied to the last.”
