Whisky Show label competition open for entries

Whisky lovers are invited to design the label of a 1992 Springbank single cask bottling for the chance to win tickets to The Whisky Show 2017.

The Whisky Show is offering fans the chance to design their own label

Every year, The Whisky Show, London, launches a collection of whiskies especially for the show, and this year’s range will centre on the theme ‘The Art of Whisky’.

Entrants are tasked with designing a label in response to the question: “What does ‘The Art of Whisky’ mean to you?”

A panel of expert judges will consider each entry, which will be printed on the label of the 1992 Springbank, which has been aged in an ex-rum barrel.

The panel will comprise Raj Chavda, creative director, The Whisky Exchange; Luci Noel, London Fair director, Affordable Art Fair; and Andrew Milne, show manager, The Whisky Show.

The winner will receive two tickets to the Sunday 1 October 2017 session of The Whisky Show, two tickets to a private viewing of The Affordable Art Fair on Wednesday 18 October 2017, and a bottle of the Springbank whisky adorned with the winning artwork.

Each design must be submitted online at www.whiskyshow.com/art, created in square format and be an original creation. Submissions can be physical or digital, but must be made before the deadline of 19 July 2017. The winner will be announced by 24 July.
