Tullibardine unveils The Murray Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Perthshire-based Tullibardine Distillery has released its latest expression – The Murray Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a 2004 vintage finished in casks from the southern Rhône vineyards.

The single malt whisky has been released exclusively in Germany via Whisky.de, and will be rolled out to international markets early next year.

The Murray Châteauneuf-du-Pape was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2017 at 46% abv, and has an RRP of around €52 (US$61). It is non-chill-filtered.

The whisky was initially aged in first-fill Bourbon hogshead casks before being finished in French red wine barriques from the southern Rhône vineyards.

This is the second release in Tullibardine’s Marquess Collection, named after Sir William Murray, the second marquess of Tullibardine.
