Bardstown Bourbon Co expands board of directors

Kentucky-based Bardstown Bourbon Company has appointed former Morgan Stanley chairman and CEO John J Mack to its board of directors.

John J Mack has joined Bardstown Bourbon Company’s board of directors

Mack joins existing Bardstown Bourbon Company (BBCo) board members Peter Loftin, founder and chairman of BBCo; David Mandell, founder, president and CEO of BBCo; and Jeff Hopmayer, managing partner of the Brindiamo Group.

Mack currently holds the position of chairman of Lantern Credit and also sits of the board of Glencore International AG, Lending Club, Bloomberg Family Foundation and Tri Alpha Energy.

Furthermore, Mack is part of the board of trustees of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the University Hospitals of both Columbia and Cornell.

Peter Loftin, chairman of the Bardstown Bourbon Company, said: “The Bardstown Bourbon Company is honoured to have John Mack join the board.

“John is an extremely accomplished business leader and an experienced board member in both public and non-profit sectors.

“We are confident that BBCo will greatly benefit from his judgement, insights and counsel.”
