Diageo promotes ‘balance’ with new video series

Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky maker Diageo has released the first in a series of videos exploring the concept of finding balance, called #MyBalancedLifestyle.

The mini-series features Diageo employees, customers and suppliers around the world, with the drinks group hoping to “amplify the global conversation around balanced lifestyles”.

People featured in the series include Joe Hayden, a Baileys dairy farmer in Ireland (pictured), to Julpan Kanjanabose, a Diageo World Class bartender based in Thailand.

Through the videos Diageo seeks to highlight different approaches individuals take to maintaining balance and how alcohol fits in with that.

The videos will run on the Diageo YouTube channel, published over the next three weeks. The first, a longer edit, is available to view below.

Last year, Diageo overhauled its responsible drinking website drinkiq.com to offer consumers “significantly enhanced” nutrition, calorie and alcohol content information about its brands.
