Tippling Club gathers Singapore’s finest bartenders
Noted Singapore bar Tippling Club will bring together bartenders and their serves from the city’s top establishments in the latest edition of its Once Upon a Time series.

Set to take place on Thursday 18 May, Once Upon a Time in Singapore will see cocktail luminaries from 28 HongKong Street, Employees Only Singapore, Gibson, Manhattan and Operation Dagger gather at Tippling Club for an evening of high-end swigs and small plates.
Tippling Club’s head bartender Joe Schofield will kick off proceedings with a round of sonic-aged Negronis, before Aki Eguchi of vintage-inspired Gibson will give a modernist take on the Ramos Gin Fizz classic.
Juan Yijun of Operation Dagger is to serve up a treat inspired by chef-owner Ryan Clift’s Vegetable Garden, before a spiced apple cider libation made for the occasion by 28 HongKong Street’s Joma Rivera takes centre stage.
Employees Only’s Bai Jiawei will present a signature Gimlet made with navy strength gin, before Philip Bischoff from Manhattan celebrates the Irish American ‘Mad Dog’ mobsters in liquid form with the Hell’s Kitchen (pictured).
Once Upon a Time in Singapore takes place from 7pm at Tippling Club. Tickets are priced at S$155 (US$111) for six cocktails and five small plates.
Tippling Club hosted a month of bar takeovers in March to celebrate Singapore Cocktail Festival, including stints from London’s Bar Termini and International Flavors and Fragrances.
