The One Brand is aiming to capitalise on the “huge” uptake in UK gin sales with the launch of One Gin – created by Blackdown Distillery’s master distillery Sarah Thompson.

The One Brand is aiming to capitalise on the “huge” uptake in UK gin sales with the launch of One Gin

The One Brand, which funds clean water projects worldwide, has launched the gin exclusively in World Duty Free stores across the UK.

The gin is crafted from 9 different botanicals from across the globe, plus British sage foraged from the forest surrounding the distillery.

The gin is distilled in an alembic copper still before being filtered seven times, and is hand-bottled, numbered and signed by Thompson.

The One Brand hopes One Gin will direct some of the profits in the gin industry to helping fund water and sanitation projects across the globe.

One is on target to raise £20 million by 2020 for life-changing water projects, and has already raised almost £15 million – changing the lives of more than five million people.

The One Brand founder Duncan Goose said: “With the UK Gin market making its biggest comeback since Hogarth’s times, it was a natural step for us to broaden our drinks portfolio into this exciting new area, helping to drive our donation power and make a difference to the 663 million people worldwide who don’t have access to clean water.

“The evolution of One Gin has been a fantastic experience. Through the help of experts in the industry such as Sarah Thompson our award-winning master distiller, we have developed a unique British craft gin, distilled in Sussex, but inspired by the world.

“So why not choose a gin which makes a difference and funds life-changing water projects in some of the world’s poorest communities?”

One Gin is currently available exclusively through stores in London Heathrow, Gatwick and across the UK, at an RRP of £36.99 for one litre.
