Benromach whisky appoints Belgium distributor
Single malt Scotch brand Benromach has upped its focus on the Belgian market, naming Alcobrands as its exclusive distributor in the country.
Benromach now has an exclusive distributor in Belgium
Founded in 2008 by Dirk Boeckx, Alcobrands has worked with spirits including The Glenrothes and is an established brand builder in the market.
“When we were looking for a new distributor, it was apparent that Alcobrands was a perfect fit with our core values at Benromach,” said David King, international sales director at parent Gordon & MacPhail.
“We share the same aspirations for Benromach and with their expertise of the Belgian market, the team at Alcobrands will help us continue to build on our international success of late.
“Over the last twelve months alone, Benromach sales have increased by 23% and we now export to over 40 countries. After a great start to 2017 with numerous award wins and new releases, the rest of 2017 will see more exciting releases and projects as we approach our 20thanniversary in 2018.”
