Charles H bartender to pop-up at Tippling Club
Head bartender Lorenzo Antinori of Charles H in South Korea is heading to Singapore bar and restaurant Tippling Club for a one-night-only takeover.
On 20 April, Antinori will host Once Upon a Time at Charles H, where he will be tracing through the cocktail musings of its namesake Charles H. Baker from Cuba to Calcutta.
Antinori will bring six cocktails from Charles H, located in the Four Seasons Seoul, each paired with a plate of food.
Cocktails on the menu include Pan American Swizzle, a combination of Cana Brava 7, Calvados, hibiscus honey, verjus, and absinthe; and East India, a blend of Aylesbury duck, dry Vermouth, white chocolate, and apple cider vinegar.
Prior to joining Charles H, Antinori held posts at The Savoy’s American Bar and Beaufort Bar and more recently as head bartender at Mondrian London’s Dandelyan bar.
The guest takeover follows a one-night-only visit from The American Bar at The Savoy’s Dominic Whisson in January, and the team from Tony Conigliaro’s Bar Termini brought aperitivo hour to Singapore last month.
