Women of the Vine & Spirits expands into Europe
By Kristiane SherryUS-based industry group Women of the Vine & Spirits is to expand into Europe and will kick off proceedings with a breakfast meeting during trade show VinItaly.

The group, which was founded by Deborah Brenner in 2014, will host a networking session at 9:30am local time on 11 April for the trade and press, when it will formally announce its Europe activities.
Confirmed advisory board members for the region include Stephanie J MacLeod, master blender at Bacardi’s John Dewar & Sons; Marilisa Allegrini, Allegrini Estates CEO; Beatrice Cointreau, owner and CEO at Admirable Wines; Margaret Henriquez, president and CEO at Krug Maison de Champagne; Stevie Kim, VinItaly International managing director; and Jancis Robinson MW, wine writer and critic.
VinItaly delegates looking to attend the breakfast should register via the Women of the Vine & Spirits website.
Last month, The Distilled Spirits Council partnered with Women of the Vine & Spirits, providing funding to enable the organisation to further personal development and career opportunities work.
