The Borderies Cognac expression is produced from one eau-de-vie from a single domain, Domaine de Charbonnière.

Available in limited quantities, each bottle is individually numbered and presented in an “elegantly understated” bottle featuring an engraved label.

Passengers at Hong Kong International Airport can discover the expression, and the Borderies region it comes from, through a number of in-airport experiences.

Guided tastings educate shoppers on the Borderies style, focusing on Martell Single Estate Domaine de Charbonnière’s tasting notes of “plum, peach, candied lemon, vanilla and clove”.

In addition to the latest expression, passengers can also explore Martell Cordon Bleu and Cordon Bleu Extra, which are also said to offer a characteristic Borderies style.

The Hong Kong International Airport activity will run until the end of April 2017. Martell Single Estate Domaine de Charbonnière is priced at US$268.

Earlier this year Martell marked the start of the Chinese Year of the Rooster with the launch of Cordon Bleu Intense Heat Cask Finish, which utilises a first-of-its-kind finishing process for the brand.
