Amber Beverage tours Fabrica de Tequilas Finos
After recently acquiring Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, Amber Beverage Group releases a video exploring its new distillation facilities where 20 brands, including KAH Tequila, are made.
In September 2016, SPI Group subsidiary Amber Beverage Group made its first foray into the Tequila category with the acquisition of a “significant equity stake” in Fabrica de Tequilas Finos.
After settling a legal dispute over the flagship KAH Tequila brand, Amber Beverage is now in full control of both the brands and the production site, and has hit the Tequila ground running.
Amber Beverage CEO Seymour Ferreira told The Spirits Business the move into the category represents an exciting time for his company.
“The category does have a long way to go, but I think that’s part of the reason why you’re seeing the whole Tequila category grow in double digits,” he said. “It makes it exciting for a company like ours as we look to establish themselves in the international arena, and to create a new footprint for our company and existing brands.”
