‘Gin run’ tour hits London streets
Fitness-loving gin fans, rejoice – running tour provider Secret London Runs has launched a new route in celebration of London’s “long-term thirst for gin”.
Secret London Runs has launched a new route for gin fanatics
Spanning 8km – or 5 miles – the historic tour begins at a secret gin palace in EC4, stopping off at eight set locations to play gin-themed games, explore London’s various gin crazes and marvel at gin palaces.
All that running is thirsty work indeed, so at the end of the tour each participant is treated to a free gin and tonic at one of the team’s favourite gin palaces.
From novices to experienced runners, all are welcome – each group has a set guided pace:
Sunday 2nd April – Midday: 1 hour 15 minute pace for 10km run
Monday 3rd April – 6pm: 45-55 minute pace for 10km run
Tuesday 4th April – 7pm: 1 hour pace for 10km run
Wednesday 5th April – 7:30pm: 1 hour 30 minute pace for 10km run (half walk, half jog)
Thursday 6th April – 7pm: 1 hour for 10km run
The experience includes the tour, a g&t serve, a goody bag, a copy of Hurrah For Gin by Katy Kirby, and a bag drop.
