Smith & Sinclair unveils sensory cocktail bar

Cocktail confectionery company Smith & Sinclair has launched a sensory cocktail pop-up bar in London, offering alcoholic dib dabs, ‘Christmas-infused’ vapours and edible perfume.

Sanderson has launched the Smith & Sinclair Sensory Cocktail Pop Up Bar at Purple Bar

Set in Sanderson Hotel’s Alice In Wonderland-inspired Purple Bar, the experiences introduces the opportunity to ‘play’ with cocktails, “eat your drink” and engage the senses with an exclusively curated drinks menu.

Experiences include drinking liquids that change in both flavour and colour whilst being served and sipped, scented lollipops with alcoholic dib dabs, and pastille pick ‘n’ mix.

Adjacent to the bar, Smith & Sinclair have launched pop up shop The Flavour Room – offering a variety of packaged treats to take away and enjoy at home, spanning chocolate ‘salt and pepper’ mills to a wall of cocktail sherbets.

The menu will be available at Purple Bar until Christmas eve. All cocktails are priced at £18 each, and cocktail packages are available for two people.

Painting the Roses Red

The last tastes of summer are captured in a burst of fruit and floral, served with an edible perfume pairing for “sweetening” to taste.

Rose Gold

Gin, rosé, Campari, ‘gold’
A sweet and tart Negroni infused with liquid glitter and served over a chunk of ice and with a scented rose gold lollipop.

Thyme for Tea

Whisky, jasmine, Lillette, citrus, Prosecco
Served from a signature tea pot is a sweet and refreshing jasmine nectar and citrus-infused whisky, topped with a touch of bubbly, slowly infused with Lapsang Souchong, ice thyme and sage.
