Lemonade mixer designed to complement vodka

Soft drinks producer Franklin & Sons has extended its mixer range to include a lemonade flavour designed to “bring out the best in spirits”, particularly vodka.

Franklin & Sons Original Lemonade is said to contain “one of the highest percentages of natural lemon juice on the market”.

The drink is made using Argentine lemons that have been blended with Staffordshire spring water and natural British sugar, without artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Franklin & Sons collaborates with Shaker Bar School to create its mixer range, aiming to “meet the exacting standards of today’s mixologists”.

The firm, founded in 1886, first launched its mixer range in December 2015, expanding distribution to 20 international markets.

“Franklin & Sons is a brand rooted in its Victorian heritage and has a passion for original, great tasting drinks,” said Justin Horsman, marketing controller at Global Brands, distributor of Franklin & Sons.

“We strive to use the best quality ingredients, specially procured from around the world in order to deliver a high quality taste. We wanted to create a lemonade that stands out as a great serve alone yet is also brought to life when used as a mixer with premium spirits.”

Franklin & Sons Original Lemonade is presented in a 200ml bottle made from recyclable glass.
