Conigliaro to open Andy Warhol-inspired bar

Renowned bar and cocktail innovator Tony Conigliaro is to open his third venue in east London next month, inspired by artist Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory.

Tony Conigliaro, founder of 69 Colebrook Row and Bar Termini

Based in Hackney, the bar, called Untitled, has been curated by Conigliaro and his Drink Factory team, including the consultancy’s head of research, Zoe Burgess, who is also partner of the new bar.

The venue will act as a “creative east London hub”, showcasing creativity through cocktails, food, art and design and featuring “evolving installations and collaborations with like-minded souls”.

Larger than Conigliaro’s two other bars – the renowned 69 Colebrook Row and Bar Termini – Untitled will be a “relaxed space” centred around a large communal table for up to 20 people.

The bar’s menu will feature 12 new, original cocktails that focus on sensory explorations, with names such as ‘Snow’, ‘Rice’ and ‘Violin’.

Each drink will be served in a specially-designed vessel to create an “all-encompassing sensory experience”.

Polished concrete is central to the design of Untitled, while silver walls pay homage to Warhol’s famous studio.

At the start of this year, Conigliaro made his signature bottled serve, the Classico Negroni, available for sale online.
