Benromach offers single casks to trade
By Amy HopkinsGordon & MacPhail has launched a new scheme offering international trade customers the opportunity to bottle a single cask of Benromach whisky and customise its packaging.
Trade customers are now able to bottle the entire outturn of a Benromach single cask
A parcel of casks from the Benromach Distillery Company has been released for sale worldwide following a “high period of growth” for the brand, which increased sales by 36% over the past 12 months.
Trade customers that bottle the casks will also have the opportunity to add their business details to the packaging.
“The Benromach Single Cask provides our trade customers with the opportunity to bottle the entire outturn of the cask and customise the offering for their market,” said Kirsty Saville, Benromach brand manager.
“Benromach, with its unique pre-1960s character, has proved a huge hit in the UK and in overseas markets. Benromach Single Cask provides opportunities to create a unique product for our trade customers.”
Now available in 40 countries, Benromach Distillery was originally built in 1898 and after being mothballed was brought back into production by Gordon & MacPhail, which purchased the distillery in 1993.
In September this year the Benromach Distillery Company hired a fourth distiller to enable the brand to better meet demand from international markets.
