IBA World Cocktail Championships 2016

Finland’s Markus Sillanpää was named champion of the After Dinner Cocktail Competition for his indulgent Vienna Mocha serve, a mix of Havana Club Añejo 7 Años, Mozart Dark Chocolate, Giffard Abricot du Roussillon, Monin Cinnamon, Angostura orange bitters and Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters.

Flairtending victor Marek Posluszny also recreated his drink for the panel of Super Final judges, which consisted of Ron Busman, president of the IBA; Derrick Lee, former president of the IBA; Alex Beaumont, the IBA’s vice president – Southern Hemisphere; and Amy Hopkins, deputy editor of The Spirits Business magazine.
