Chase intros lemon marmalade flavoured vodka
Herefordshire-based Chase Distillery has launched Chase Eureka Lemon Marmalade Vodka, exclusively available from Harvey Nichols.
Chase has introduced Williams Eureka Lemon Marmalade VodkaChase Eureka Lemon Marmalade Vodka is a flavoured version of the distillery’s original potato vodka blended with thick cut lemon marmalade.
The two are infused together in the distillery’s ‘marmaliser’ before they are marinated for 72 hours with eureka lemon peel to add a “natural lemon colour” and “depth of flavour”.
After 10 days of being stored in tanks, the vodka is rested and then ready to be bottled.
The new expression is described as “wonderfully smooth with a distinct citrus pithiness and lingering lemon zest”.
On the palate it’s described as “thick and oily with a welcoming sweet creaminess, lemon meringue pie and subtle notes of vanilla”.
Available from 24 October from Harvey Nichols stores and online, Chase Eureka Lemon Marmalade Vodka is bottled at 40% abv and carries an RRP of £47 for 700ml.
In May this year, Chase Distillery launched Williams Pink Grapefruit Gin exclusively available at Selfridge’s Oxford Street.
