Sipsmith kicks off gin subscription service

Following a successful crowdfunding campaign and sell-out trial, Sipsmith is to launch its gin subscription service this month along with a new Lemon Drizzle Gin.

Sipsmith’s Lemon Drizzle Gin is set to launch in M&S at the end of September

After raising 200% of its crowdfunding target on Indiegogo in November, the Sipsmith Sipping Society is now launching, giving gin lovers the chance to taste four bespoke gins from the distillery every quarter accompanied by a cocktail recipe card.

The subscription service will include unique and seasonal flavours such as the Christmas Tree gin, Hot Cross Bun gin, Strawberries and Cream gin and The Phantom Negroni.

Sipsmith has also announced the launch of its new Lemon Drizzle Gin. First created for the inaugural Sipping box, it is set to launch in M&S at the end of September, priced at £24 for a 50cl bottle.

The new expression is described as having a “biscuity sweetness on the nose, reminiscent of the golden crisp top of a lemon drizzle cake, followed by a fresh, zesty, warming zing and a beautiful liquorice-laced finish.”

Jared Brown, Sipsmith master distiller, said: “Everything we produce at Sipsmith celebrates the depth of thought and creativity that goes into creating gin of uncompromising quality, like our London Dry Gin. Our Sipping Society brings together gin lovers who share our passion and those who want to experience the very best of our Distillery’s experiments.

“We follow a modern-day expression of traditional distilling, by carefully crafting unexpected flavours on our 50 litre copper still, Cygnet, and in turn only release the editions that reflect the quality we’re obsessed with. It’s truly been a team effort and we’re so proud to finally announce our Sipping Society to everyone.”

An annual subscription to the Sipsmith Sipping Society is available from Sipsmith.com from mid-October at the price of £160.
