Fair pens deal with UK distributor Mangrove

Mangrove has added the “world’s first socially responsible spirits brand”, Fair, to its portfolio, which includes a quinoa-based vodka.

Mangrove is to distribute Fair’s portfolio across the UK

Founded in 2009 by Alexandre Koiransky, Fair is a collection of ethically-produced spirits and liqueurs from France crafted by master brewer and distiller, Philip Laclie.

The brand’s Fairtrade ingredients include organic quinoa from the 3000m high Altiplano Plateau and hand-picked juniper berries in Uzbekistan.

The full range features Fair Vodka, Rum, Gin, Café Liqueur, and the newly introduced Kumquat liqueur.

The brand is now readying to launch two new flavours – Fair Açaï and Fair Cacao – by Christmas 2016.

Nick Gillett, managing director of Mangrove said: “Mangrove is delighted to distribute the Fair range of spirits and liqueurs.

“The Fairtrade and organic sector is one which is showing great potential and when you have amazing tasting liquids as unique as Kumquat and Goji you can see why Fair has a such a great following.

“The Fair team has already done a great job and we look forward to helping them achieve their potential.”
