BBFB names Shahbazkhani UK head of trade advocacy

BBFB has named Shervene Shahbazkhani UK head of trade advocacyShahbazkhani has succeeded Marc Plumridge, who has moved into the role of Northern Europe head of trade advocacy for Bacardi.
In the role, she will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of bartender engagement activity for key brands within Bacardi’s portfolio, including Bacardi rum, Grey Goose vodka and Bombay Sapphire gin.
Working alongside Brown-Forman’s head of UK trade advocacy, Nidal Ramini, Shahbazkhani will manage the existing group of brand and trade ambassadors that comprise the BBFB Training Team.
BBFB is a UK distribution subsidiary for brands belonging to both Bacardi and Brown-Forman.
“The Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands Training Team is comprised of some of the most passionate and knowledgeable people within the bar community so to be given the opportunity to lead them is a real joy for me,” said Shahbazkhani.

Shahbazkhani was nominated for the Best International Brand Ambassador Spirited Award at Tales of the Cocktail in 2015 and 2014.
