Pernod Ricard unveils The Glenlivet Space

Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Asia has launched a pop-up experiential retail store at Singapore Changi Airport dedicated to its single malt Scotch brand The Glenlivet.

Open until September 2016, The Glenlivet Space offers whisky fans travelling through Singapore the opportunity to explore the entire distillery range, including new release The Glenlivet Burrelton Single Cask Edition.

Situated in the DFS Upper Deck in Changi Airport Terminal 2, the space offers complimentary whisky education sessions hosted by specialists.

The pop-up offers The Glenlivet Burrelton Single Cask Edition as a featured bottle. Named after a the small hamlet of Burrelton, a landmark on the smuggling trail out of the Livet valley, the liquid has been drawn from a single hogshead cask.

Aged for 21 years and bottled in March 2016, the expression is non-chill-filtered and bottled a natural cask strength of 54.1%. Just 214 bottles have been released.

“The Glenlivet Burrelton Single Cask Edition is more than just a single cask whisky of exceptional quality,” said Nodjame Fouad, marketing director, Pernod Ricard Travel Retail Asia Pacific.

“It is a celebration of The Glenlivet’s rich history and legacy. It is with delight that we launch this exclusively at DFS in Singapore Changi Airport, which is ostensibly a hub for fine whisky appreciation in South East Asia. We are very excited to share the best of our single malt with the many whisky aficionados in Singapore, including those travelling through Singapore.”

The Glenlivet Burrelton Single Cask Edition is available now from The Glenlivet Space priced at US$500.
