Paul Hunnisett to lead ARI liquor team
Travel retailer Aer Rianta International (ARI) has appointed Paul Hunnisett, former World Duty Free executive, as global head of category – liquor, tobacco, confectionery.

Most recently, Hunnisett worked with Beam Suntory as regional director, EMEA duty free.
“I am delighted to have joined ARI as global head of category, LTC,” he said.
“I believe that my experience within the industry from both a supplier and buying perspective will add great value to both ARI and further build our brand partnerships.
“It’s great to be joining ARI whilst the business is in a high growth phase and to be part of exciting projects such as the development of the retail offer for Abu Dhabi and Muscat airports. I look forward to discussing some interesting opportunities with our brand partners in the coming months.”

ARI saw its overseas profits soar 19% in 2015, according to parent company DAA’s full-year financial results.
