Nicola Carruthers joins The Spirits Business

Nicola Carruthers has joined The Spirits Business as staff writerCarruthers joins The Spirits Business from Camra – the Campaign for Real Ale – where she held the role of communications assistant.
She takes over from Melita Kiely, who left the magazine last month.
Carruthers graduated from De Montfort University with an Honours degree in Journalism, Media and Communications, before interning at local paper The Watford Observer, and trade titles Imbibe and BestBars.
She also brings with her hands-on bartending experience and has a detailed knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.

With Carruthers’ appointment, there have been a number of changes to the wider editorial team.
