Isle of Arran Distillers releases anniversary book

The book was launched at the Malt and Music Festival in Lochranza, Scotland last weekendThe new book offers a complete account of the history of the distillery, from its initial conception to the present day, featuring archive and contemporary illustrations and island photography.
Researched by whisky writer Neil Wilson, who also originally purchased a bond in Isle of Arran Distillers, the chronicle follows the growth of the distillery, starting with founding distillers Hal Currie and David Hutchison.
Featuring information from people who were involved in the company’s development as well as current employees and brand enthusiasts, the book is said to be a “true celebration of Arran Malt”.

Earlier this year, Isle of Arran announced plans to open a second distillery site on the Scottish island, to keep up with increased demand and visitor numbers.
