Hendrick’s offers cocktails on cucumber bus
Hendrick’s is readying to serve drinks on a double-decker bus “disguised as a giant cucumber” as part of the brand’s ongoing efforts to raise awareness of its signature G&T serve.
The bus is provided by Hendrick’s ‘Ministry for Marginally Superior Transport’
Known for its cucumber garnish, the Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic is the brand’s focus – and its newest stunt, Hendrick’s Extraordinary Roving Bus for Exceptionally Refined Travel (H.E.R.B.E.R.T.), will reinforce the concept as it journeys through London streets in the coming weeks.
Provided by Hendrick’s ‘Ministry for Marginally Superior Transport’, a bureau working to “help remedy the ills associated with terrible etiquette” across London’s transport system; the bus is intended to provide “much needed respite” to travel-weary Londoners.
On board the bus Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic’s will be served along with various gin cocktails and cucumber macaroons.
Passengers are invited to share their travel woes – or triumphs – with a tweet to @HendricksGinUK using #HendricksMinistry. The best will receive a Hendrick’s gift or personalised message from the Ministry.
Passengers can board at Hendrick’s stops on Victoria Street, Westminster (SW1E 5NT), Southbank (SE1 8XT), Theobalds Road, Holborn (WC1X 8SP) or Euston Road, Kings Cross (NW1 2SX).
The bus will run from 21-29 July excluding Mondays, between the hours of 4pm and 9pm.
Tickets are available to purchase for £2.50 at http://www.showfilmfirst.com/hendricks/
