Heinemann lifts holiday spirits with summer promo

Travel retailer Gebr. Heinemann has launched a Hello Summer initiative across its Duty Free and Travel Value stores at more than 30 European airports.

Heinemann’s Hello Summer promotion is under way across Europe

Running until the end of August, the cross-category Hello Summer promotion features decorative elements, including blue skies, fluffy clouds and surfboards, as well as special activities.

At Frankfurt and Hamburg airports have taken on a Caribbean theme, with a Captain Morgan ship installation used to promote Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold at a special “Summer Deal” price.

In addition, a wheel of fortune competition gives passengers the opportunity to win instant prizes, including sunglasses and wristbands. Those who enter using competition flyers or by visiting the retailer’s website have the chance of winning the top prize – a trip to the Caribbean for two.

The Hello Summer campaign runs across Heinemann’s airport stores, as well as digitally via the website, the app and various newsletters. The initiative will also be promoted via the Heinemann Duty Free Facebook page and through direct mailshots to Heinemann & Me loyalty scheme customers. Members of the scheme will receive discount vouchers, redeemable on purchases up until the end of August.

Heinemann Australia is currently partnering with Bacardi for a “craft” rum activation in Sydney.
